"Dave Schnell is a full time Musky Fishing Guide in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. He also has a vintage wood boat restoration and repair business. Dave has been fishing for trophy Muskie in Northern Vilas County since 1966 and fishes the lakes in Boulder Junction, Sayner, Presque Isle, Land O'Lakes and Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin. Dave can take Musky fisherman casting, in his Tuffy Esox boat or Row Trolling in several vintage guide boats, a 1938 Shell Lake 16' Fish Hawk or a 1925 Rhinelander 18' Guide Special, both restored for Row Trolling and fishing by Dave. Guided Fishing trips for Walleye, Lake Trout, Bass or Fly Fishing trips can also be booked. All equipment is provided. Full & half day Guided, fishing trips can be arranged.

Vintage Wood Boats, from traditional Guide Boats, Canoes, Sailboats or Classic Runabouts can be restored, refinished and repaired by Dave Schnell Boat Works ,who has restored over 100 wood craft in the last 25 years. Also offered for sale are "Rhinelander Boat Co." Bronze boat fittings, Rowing & Canoe Seats, decals and brass builders plates, made from original "Rhinelander Boat Company" patterns. These vintage Rowing Seats and other "Rhinelander Boat Company" items are excellent additions to any make of Classic Wood Boat or Guide boat. They are also great items when Row Trolling for Muskies.
